Classic Builders is exceptionally proud to reveal employee James Daley has gained national recognition at the 2018 The Young Builder Of The Year Awards.

Recently announced at The House Of Commons, James is one of only three individuals to secure Highly Commended status and is the highest scoring Plasterer at this years’ national awards.

Established in 1999, the Young Builder Of The Year Awards (hosted by Youthbuild UK) celebrate the achievements of young people, who despite having to overcome a range of barriers have succeeded in training for and or gaining employment in the construction industry. In September this year, the Rt. Hon John Hayes (former Minister of State For Further Education, Skills & Life Longlearning) joined Youthbuild UK as its President. He is widely acknowledged for his enthusiasm for young people pursing alternative forms of training and education; stating too often people are only recognised for their academic achievements’.”

James joined 150 guests at the recent ceremony in London where he was presented with his highly-commended award before accompanying fellow finalists for an exclusive trip on the renowned Coca-Cola London Eye.
