2019 was an incredible year for Classic Builders; continued growth, securing new contracts, welcoming new staff and giving back to our community were just some of the highlights of the year. Established in 2003, Classic Builders has grown from a single sole trader to becoming the largest privately-owned building contractor in Devon and Cornwall.
Covering an operating area of 7,500 square miles and employing more than 100 direct staff, Classic Builders has gone from strength to strength through its commitment to providing consistent and reliable results.
2019 saw unparalleled opportunities for Classic Builders. The acquisition of new contracts in both existing and new operating areas facilitated new and manageable growth. Markets including commercial, industrial and housing each saw progressive increases; enabling Classic Builders to further its operating presence. The addition of new and highly experienced staff has strengthened the structure, resources and capability of the business so to remain a preferred choice for building works in Devon and Cornwall. The adoption of an ambitious community engagement programme allowed the business to contribute to beneficiaries throughout the South West; ensuring, where possible, prosperity was shared and opportunities for community assistance were explored. As a result Classic Builders experienced the largest value of enquiries in operating history, the highest level of experienced digital engagement, greatest level of community awareness and the privilege of welcoming some exceptional new staff to the company.
